Central Election Commission has registered 243 observers for the new municipal elections scheduled for November 27, 2005. The observers are representing the League for Human Rights (LADOM), Moldovan Helsinki Committee, Association “ADEPT” and other organizations from Moldova, four organizations are involved in the election monitoring for the first time.
CEC has also established a protocol office for international observes registration. It is expected that the international observers will represent Council of Europe, OSCE and diplomats.
