Biographical Data
In 1980 graduated Journalism Faculty of the “Ivan Franko” State University in Lvov (Ukraine), worked in Ukrainian and Moldovan media. Member of the Journalism Union of the URSS.
Since 1985 — scientific activity, in 1990 PhD.
In 1993 — doctor habilitate.
In 1996 founded and leaded the Chisinau Community of Russian natives.
Since 2003 member of the governing council of the Russian World Organization — International Council of the Russian Compatriots.
1998 entered political life, registering with the Ministry of Justice the Socio-political Movement “Ravnopravie”.
In 1999 elected to Chisinau Municipal Council on the Ravnopravie list.
In 2003 reelected to the same position.
In 2003 elected chair of the National Baseball and Softball Federation.
