Education:

State Agrarian University of Moldova, Academy of Public Administration of the Republic of Moldova Government.

Work experience:

• 1976–1985 — senior engineer at the “Colhoz Sad Proiect” Institute.
• 1985–1990 — instructor, Department Chief at the Party Rayon Committee.
• 1990–1991 — Deputy Chair of the Executive Committee of the Lenin District (Chisinau).
• 1991–1998 — Praetor, Central District of Chisinau Municipality.
• 1998–1999 — Minister of Labor and Social Protection.
• Opened the first asylum for elderly in Chisinau.
• Extended trolleybus route to “Struguras” hotel.
• Initiated and promoted enlargement of the Izmail street.
• In cooperation with the Chisinau Central Market introduced the food supply system to kindergartens and schools.
• Initiated and built 11 sports and playing grounds for children.
