• 1971–1973, senior scientific researcher;
• 1973–1988, officer in the local government;
• 1988–1990, Deputy Chair of the Environment Department of the Republic of Moldova;
• 1990–1992, Chair of the Executive Bureau of the Environmental Movement of Moldova;
• 1992–1994, Chief of Department, Chisinau Mayoralty;
• 1994 — Chair of the Chisinau Territorial Organisation of the Environmental Movement of Moldova;
• 1991 — lecturer at the Technical University of Moldova and Agrarian University.

Scientific experience:

• Author of 2 collections of about 30 scientific articles;
• Participant to the Aarhus Conference (1998).
